Annual Competition
Held in the idyllic Soufriere / Scott’s Head Bay, Blue Element Freediving Competition brings together many of the world’s elite freedivers to compete for prizes and to see who can dive the deepest!
Organizers Jonathan Sunnex and Sofía Gómez head a professional and experienced crew in one of the world’s most majestic freediving locations. Simple logistics and ideal conditions create a perfect platform for athletes to perform to their best at this end-of-season event!

Location and Layout
The competition takes place inside the scenic Soufriere / Scott’s Head Marine Reserve with logistics provided by Nature Island Dive. Our custom-built freediving platform is just a short swim from shore, or less than two minutes by boat. We have onsite showers, and great local cuisine just steps away!

Custom-built with performance and safety in mind, our platform features a 12mm non-stretch Dyneema rope (perfect for deep FIM), counter-ballast system, and real-time athlete tracking with our Garmin depth sounder.
